Fits bust is a body measurement. Everything else is the garment laid flat, in inches. Between sizes? The belt adjusts, so take the smaller size for a closer fit or size up to layer heavy knits underneath.

Long loose ringlets at the collar, running down both front edges, banded deep at the cuffs and again around the whole hem. The curls are fine enough that light passes through them, so the trim reads brighter than the plush it sits on and the coat moves when you do.

Nothing To Button
A soft self-fabric tie in the same colour as the coat, no buckle and no hardware to dig in. Pull it tight and the coat takes a waist; leave it loose and the whole thing falls open and swings. There is no zip and there are no buttons, so there is nothing to do up in a hurry.

Is the fur real?
No. Every bit of the trim is faux fur. No animal fur is used anywhere in this coat, or in anything Fox & Ocean makes.
How long is it?
It falls to mid-calf. The back length runs 41.7 inches on a small through to 42.5 inches on a large, so on most people it sits somewhere between the knee and the ankle.
How does it fasten?
With the belt, and only the belt. There are no buttons and no zip. Tie it for a defined waist or leave it open and let the coat swing.
What size should I take?
S fits a US 4 to 6, M a US 8, and L a US 10 to 12. If you are between sizes the belt adjusts, so take the smaller one for a closer fit or size up if you plan to layer heavy knits underneath.
Is it warm?
Yes. The body is a short dense plush that holds heat without the bulk of a padded coat, and the fur at the collar and cuffs closes the gaps where the cold usually gets in.
